Zero Balance

Zero is an odd number. I am not sure who invented the concept of zero as a number but I am ambivalent about this number. In one aspect of my life I would like to achieve a zero balance. That is I want no debt. But in my quest to achieve this, it means I will have to live my life without the crutch that I have used for a long time: the credit card. I had to rely on the money that I do have, not the imaginary kind. I have done this for the past three weeks and now I have zero balance in my account... zero real money. Ouch. But on the good side I have not incurred debt for the past three weeks. Yey.
