If there ever was one regret I have, it is losing the great friendship I have with Noreen. I thought that she and I and Lucy will all grow old together in our friendship.
Many years ago, a fracture in our friendship happened. The details of it are now but a hazy memory and leaves me confused. I tried to mend it but somehow it was never the same. We both grew up fast and separately. I always find myself wondering: Had that branch of my history not been broken, would my friendship with Sarah had flourished like it had now?
